This is a very good resource for home school. Parents and kids both like it and students gain. Please keep it in stock.

One of my kids could do with some lighter reading and answering questions formula curriculum especially for days when I cannot dedicate as much time as I would like to instruct her on her heavier and more hands on reading and writing curriculum.

My kids did well and liked Explode the Code so I'm supplementing with these now.

It took me a long time to figure out the leveling of these, so thought I'd share. Each beyond the code book comes after two explode the code books. So Beyond the code 1 is intended for after completing explode the code 2, Beyond the code 2 is intended for after completing explode the code 4, etc.

My special needs daughter is older but at a 2nd grade reading level. She really enjoyed doing Beyond the Code Book 2. They are fun stories that I think are worth reading, and it was fun to finish the picture and answer the comprehension questions.
Debra C on Nov 11, 2016
I liked the first two. It makes my child think about what he is reading rather than just reading the words.

Does Beyond the Code have a teacher's guide?
A shopper on Jun 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I never found one. It doesn't have an answer key in the back either. After my daughter read the story herself and finished the lesson worksheets, I read the story out loud for her to hear (this doesn't take too long) and then we went over the answers together. Most of the worksheets are easy to go over without an answer key.
