Detailed course
I'm impressed with the scope of this book. It's very Amish/Mennonite in nature and not at all internet friendly but I don't think that distracts from its value. I personally don't plan to do the entire course as several projects just don't fit our interests. But, I plan to use it as a guide to accomplish my goals for this aspect of my daughters' education. Worth the money!

This book is amazing! I bought it on a whim because it was clearanced so low, and my daughter feels like it was the best book we have purchased all year! She has learned so many practical skills, and she has matured significantly through the Godly Womanhood lessons. This book has the lessons in it, but for many of the sections additional books are needed. Well worth the effort to find the recommended books! They have all been wonderful so far.

I feel it is important to teach our daughters about being home makers. This is truly a lost art.

I am interested in a thorough home training program.

Life skills are so important for our children to learn, and with the feminist agenda so permeating our culture, many of the valuable home-making skills are lost. It is my desire for my daughter to value and possess many of these skills as an adult. The sale price makes this valuable resource more affordable to me.

Received the email of things on sale and this sounded great for me, if not also to use throughout the years with both my son and daughter.

Chosen for an excellent and complete Home Economics course similar to the secular one I had in High School, and the age groups it encompasses.

I believe we should train our young women to be virtuous, modest and industrious. This book will help!

Doing Christian homeschool curriculum with grandkids and this is the best program I've seen to equate with the home economics they used to teach when I went to school.
Am very excited for my granddaughter and me to get this and begin a more formalized training method.
Thank you and God bless!

I'm just looking for a good home ec curriculum. Hoping this one meets our needs. Reviews I've read indicate that it will

I heard a lot of good things about it. It covers 7 years as well.

  • Complete instructions are included for some areas (including directions for 23 projects), but some also require the use of outside resources (about 7 per year, as listed in the curriculum). Most of these can be borrowed from the library, but you may want to purchase some as a kind of "starter" for your daughter's own home library. Currently offered both as a hardcover book, and in a more economical format on CD.
