Excellence in Literature-English 1 provides a reading list written assignments and even additional material that qualify it for an Honors English course The manual does take a little bit of time to become familiar with the format Once you are acquainted with the material it is very easy for both the teacher and student to use For homeschool parents that are wanting to make sure that their child is on track with College and University reading lists this program provides a wide array of authors novels classics short stories and other narratives that will help prepare your student for the rigors of higher education Composition and Literature courses

We chose EIL for our 13 and 15 year olds to learn a foundation in writing and analyzing literature. Using with Teaching The Classics by Adam Andrews and IEW's writing program.
